Refined Cost Segregation, LLC wants every investor and tax professional to be able to use this website — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions, or reduced motion. Accessibility is part of how we maintain this site, not an afterthought.
The standard we build to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice in its web-accessibility rulemaking and settlement agreements under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we've done
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
- Full keyboard operability: a skip-to-content link, visible focus indicators, and keyboard-accessible menus, accordions, and the savings estimator.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA for text, checked against our brand palette.
- Labeled form fields on the estimator and intake forms, with a proper page language and heading structure on every page.
- Animation that respects your reduced motion system setting.
- No CAPTCHAs, no autoplaying media, and no content that flashes.
Known limitations
Our intake and order forms are provided by Jotform, and payments are processed by Stripe, inside embedded frames. We've configured them for accessibility (labeled fields, logical order, descriptive frame titles), but some of their internals are outside our direct control. If any part of a form doesn't work with your assistive technology, contact us below — we'll take your information by phone or email instead, no friction, and report the issue to the vendor.
